22 Paintings at White Horses
Twenty-two of my paintings are hanging at the celebrated
White Horses restaurant in San Clemente.

White Horses is truly a gem among our southern California restaurants. Voted OC Weekly "Best Restaurant in Orange County" 2006, 2007 and 2008, it's located right across from the pier in romantic San Clemente on the Pacific.

Restaurateur and chef Mark Norris, along with his wife Aileen and chef Jeremy Ebert, consistently put
forth a parade of truly outstanding dishes. From the caramelized onion quadrangle puff pastry appetizer (to name just one), and wonderful tapas, through to the extraordinary entrees, these really are creative expressions in food. Just listen to the names and you will begin to get the idea... A Trio of Smoked Birds... Crab & Ling Cod Cioppino... Venison Filet with Mocha Sauce... Macadamia Grouper... Pheasant and Italian Vegatarian Plate... Steak and Mushroom Pie... Yes, I love every morsel! The atmosphere is refined, but elegantly casual. So worth the short drive up from the San Diego area or down from LA. Treat your loved ones. Call and ask about their early bird specials. And their special holiday offerings. Go, and enjoy my art while you're dining - a combination of original oils and watermedia paintings, mostly figurative pieces, with a few landscapes and still life. All the work is for sale, some at special show prices, through Mark.
